Poster Changes

After talking to my teacher about the way my magazine poster fits or rejects the conventions of other romantic film posters, I have decided to change the black and white image of the couple, into a colour image of the couple. Still with the red text at the moment. We both agreed that the black and white image, although looked very nice did not send the right image to the audience, the black and white sent a message of sadness arther than a happy ending to a film which this film does have. By having a colour image it does make the whole poster stand out alot more, and thereby creating a much more worthwhile publication for the movie.

Once I have finished the editing of the movie which in progress, I will give out my movie poster, movie magazine cover and film teaser trailer to a sample from my target audience to get an idea of what they think of the whole media package and how the whole thing is viewed by the people that i think would be most likely to view the film as an end product. I will be able to gain understanding of the pros and cons of all of the publications, and hopefully then will also be able to make any final adjustments and changes to all of the peices to ensure they are perfect for the audience I am targetting.
