What do the audience think of each poster design?

When I showed people the COLOUR version of the poster, along side the other different versions people's responses were:
The picture is quite bright so distracts you from the title, which is probably more important as it promoted the name of the film. This was noted by a number of different people.
The colour reflects the title more, gives off an idea of happiness.
Other people said that this version was much brighter and therefore more eye catching, and that this colour of text was more appealing for this type of genre and to this target audience.

With the BLACK AND WHITE version with RED TEXT people's responses were:
The title stands out more.
The red title stands outand from this version you can tell what the film is going to be about, love and war.
This version looks more professional.
The red text stands out more, makes it more eye catching.
The picture is quite dark, is it then a dark movie?
Stars and review text is more spread out on this page which is much better.
The faces could be lighter.
Clothes look good in the darker shades.
The red text might symbolise blood or death. although it does still represent love, could be misleading?
Colour cream might be better?
The red text matches/blends well with the rest of the poster. Looks Good.
The red text might look better with lighter faces?
