I have now, edited the pictures. I did not have to do much to do this. All I did was delete the background. You may have noticed that I did not use a white backdrop in the pictures that I took. In my planning I had decided to use a white backdrop. However, when it came to the implementation of the pictures, we found that we were missing a pole for the stand in order to hold the back drop up. And as I was taking pictures at school, where the two protagonists dont go, therefore they had come out of their own free time, I felt obliged to make do without a backdrop. This however worked out fine as I found a plain wall, that did not blend with any of the clothing that the charcters were wearing. This then enabled me to easily delete the back ground on Photoshop, using the magnetic lasoo tool. I decided on using this tool as it is very quick to do, and it also allows you to go around block colours which worked well with the background I used. Once I had deleted the background accuratley, I

was then able to enhance the lighting of the photos, and remove any blemishes from the skin of the two models. On the hand of the male there was a big graze that was quite prominant on the page. I used the blemish remover tool to remove this and I think it is fair to say that now you would not even know that there had been anything there. Once I had changed the lighting etc, I then looked at the different options I had to display the final product. I then went around with the three different versions and aksed peoples comments, from my target audience, on what they thought.
