Ideas For Magazine

As you can see from these magazine covers below, creating a magazine cover for any genre can be difficult because the possibilities of what you can do and the content you can do are endless. From looking at this selection of Magazine covers, I have decided to either, use the male protagonist on his own, or the male and the female protagonists together. By having the male and female protagonists I will probably have the two holding each other in a similar way to the poster. Although maybe looking towards the camera, with the article titles for the rest of the magazine around them. If I choose to use just the male protagonist I would probably use him wearing the army clothing on his own, Perhaps smiling. Alternativley I could use him standing on his won in his own clothes if the article/feature was more about the actor rather than the film. I could also do this if the front image was of the two, have them maybe in a more relaxed state, perhaps wearing their own clothes. This would be suitable for a film magazine which would be getting to know the actors. However as i am aiming to promote a film rather than the actors, I think it would proabbly be wiser to have the two characters in the role that they were in during the film.

At the moment I think I will take the pictures, both of the man in army clothes and in casual clothes, and the woman in the same dress as was used in the filming. I can then take pictures of them seperatly and together, and decide the most appropriate way to use them, probably depending upon how the picures look against the rest of the magazine.

I will produce two versions of the magazine and decide which image and format looks better at the time of producing it.
