Before The Filming

I am now going to start the first section of my filming, hopefully now, having cut down the number of shots I want to make, I am hoping to be able to complete the majority of the filming in one day. Although this may be optimistic, I am aware that there are a number of clips that are captions, which will be created in the editing process. If you take these shots out of the number of shots I am hoping to film, I have only got around 10 shots to complete. Hopefully making it possible for me to complete it in one day. Although in the real media world it would be near impossible to create a teaser trailer in one day, for me i think this is a goal to reach in order to complete the process as quickly as possible. This will then give me lots of time in the editing process, and if needs be iIcan always re shoot failed shots again.

I am filming the outdoor grass scenes, where the man is looking as though he is in the army, in my back garden as this will give the right mise-en-scene for the film. Hopefully then giving us the right image in the final product.

For the actual filming process I am using a Panasonic video camera, which has a memory card that can easily be inserted to most computers, in order to complete the editing process. I am using an Apple Mac Computer for the editing process as this is the best editing tool around at the moment, it is also what alot of the proffessional companies use. That is why i will be using this.
